Combating low-pay/no-pay/in-work poverty for individuals lacking academic qualifications and traditional work experience.

The Porcupine Collective is a Community Interest Company (CIC) established in 2019 with the purpose of using social science and positive psychology to champion character strengths, natural talents and a growth mindset for people out of work, returning to work or despondent at work.

Using an innovative, personalised approach to career planning based on individual character, talents, passions, and skills, rather than credentials, our ‘Alternative CV’ programme aims to reduce the opportunity and achievement gap for vulnerable groups.

We designed  & built the user experience system that powers the alternative CV through a series of questions and tasks.
