Following on from the success of our design and development of the front-end for the Intellibox mobile system, we were asked to continue the work on the back-end. This is the brains behind the machine, allowing the locally installed boxes in a variety of locations worldwide to be managed centrally or locally.
The focus of the dashboard-type homepage was to ensure that feedback and analysis of the data is as smooth as possible. Therefore, we created a very modular design that can be expanded to work for both the current and also future functions the system will need to accommodate. Google Maps API was the key allowing an immediate overview of the whole system with the ability to quickly drill down and loin-point service issues if, and when, they arrive.
